About Sweet Bonanza

While in most slots you win by getting identical symbols in a specific pattern - what’s known as a payline - Sweet Bonanza is ‘all ways pay’. This means that you just have to get eight or more of the same symbol anywhere on the six reels and five rows without them having to be in a specific pattern.

When this happens, the symbols pop and disappear in a very satisfying way, while the remaining symbols fall down and leave space for new symbols to tumble down from above. It’s a lot of fun to watch your wins accumulate, and there’s also the added suspense of knowing you only need a few more of a particular symbol to complete a big win.

Before starting Sweet Bonanza, you should decide whether you want to turn on the game’s ante feature. This is done by clicking the bright green button on the left-hand side of the game. If you turn it on, you add more scatters to the reels for an extra cost. This means the minimum bet increases from 0.20 a spin to 0.25 a spin. However, you won’t be able to buy the bonus feature.

If you leave the ante feature off, you can buy the bonus feature at any point in the game, for the cost of 100 times your bet. We don’t recommend you do that, and instead pay a bit extra on each spin. This is because the game will flow better, and the free spins will be worth even more.

Scatters and Free Spins

When four or more lollipop symbols appear on the reels, whether that’s before or after a tumble, you get 10 free spins in what’s called the Sweet Bonanza Bonus. When this is activated, you’ll get sweet bombs with random multiplier numbers ranging from 2x to 100x. If the bombs are on the reels when you win, the total win will be multiplied.

Grapes

Next up is the bunch of succulent grapes. If you get eight or nine of them, your win will be 0.8x your bet. 10 or 11 will result in a 1.5x win, and 12 or more gets you a win of 4x your bet.

Watermelon

Another fruit machine staple, the watermelon gives you a win of 1x if you get eight or nine of them, 2x for 10 or 11, and a win of 10x for 12 or more.

Plum

The ripe, juicy plum will net you a win of 1.6x if you get eight or nine of them on the reels, 2.4x for 10 or 11, and a win of 16x for 12 or more.

Apple
