This online video slot draws inspiration from Pragmatic Play’s popular slot game, Sweet Bonanza. Gates of Olympus is a well-designed game with many improvements over its predecessor.
Gates of Olympus has a Greek theme that guides the game. You’ll find yourself at the entrance of the realm of the gods at Mount Olympus. There is an animated version of Zeus motioning and daring anyone brave enough to take on his challenge.
The slot game’s graphics have a console game feel to them, which adds to the impressive nature of the game. The color schemes are set to the halls of Olympus, with royal purples draping white pillars and golden floors.
Zeus floats on the right of the reels and gives the impression that you’re on trial and need to impress him to pass the entrance gates.

Game features
Gates of Olympus comes with six and five rows. It offers players 20 paylinesand a Pay Anywhere engine. This means that you can win by matching a prescribed number of symbols from any reels.

Symbols
The symbols in the game are a mix of different treasures that you would expect to find on Mount Olympus.

Winning combinations
Much like Sweet Bonanza, players of Gates of Olympus benefit from the Pay Anywhere engine feature. This allows you to match symbols from any reel on each spin.
The different reward values for each symbol are:
- Blue gem - You will need to land eight, ten and 12 or more blue gems to earn a reward.
- Green gem - Rewards are only applicable from ten symbols and 12 or more.
- Yellow gem - Landing eight, ten and 12/more will earn you rewards.
- Purple gem - It also has three set values for landing eight, ten and 12 (or more) symbols.
- Red gem - The rewards start after eight symbols landed. Landing ten and 12 or more will earn rewards as well.

Free Spins and bonuses
The game has a cascading feature that removes all winning combination symbols and replaces them with new ones. This gives you new ways to win and is essentially a respin that stops when there are no more winning combinations.
Gates of Olympus has a multiplier that appears randomly on the reels. The multiplier orb has values ranging from 2x the value to 500x the value of your winnings. These multipliers will appear in both the base game and the bonus rounds.
The bonus round is triggered when you land a minimum of four Scatters. This will earn you 3x, 5x or 100x on your Scatter win from four, five or six Scatters landed. After that, you will receive 15 free spins.
