Royal Panda is leaving the UK market

We regret to inform you that Royal Panda will no longer be operating in the UK from 31 January 2020. We’ve had a great time entertaining you over the years and we would like to thank you for choosing us as your preferred online casino.

What’s happening next?

Between now and the end of January, there are three phases that you should be aware of:

8 January 2020 at 10 am GMT - New players from the UK will no longer be able to sign up.
20 January 2020 at 9 am GMT - UK players will no longer be able to make a deposit or place a sports bet.
31 January 2020 at 9 am GMT - UK players will no longer be able to access their account, place a casino bet or play at Royal Panda.

All activities covered under our UK license end on 31 January 2020 at 9 am GMT.

What happens with my cash balance?

We encourage you to withdraw any funds from your cash balance as soon as possible, as your account will be inaccessible after 31 January. If you have not managed to withdraw your cash by then, you can contact our customer service to get the support you need.

After the cut-off date, we will proactively attempt to release any remaining cash balance funds directly to the payment method on record. If this is not possible, for example the payment method in question is no longer valid, we will attempt to contact you via email for alternative arrangements regarding your cash balance. If after a period of 12 months we have not been able to contact you, Royal Panda will donate any remaining cash balance funds to the charity BeGambleAware.

Do you have a GBP account?

6-19 January 2020:

Players can withdraw £10 or more.

20-31 January 2020:

Players can withdraw £1 or more.

Any withdrawals valued less than £1 cannot be released automatically. However, you can contact our customer service after 19 January for withdrawals valued less than £1.

Royal Panda reserves the right to charge the payment processing fees (or a reasonable estimate of those costs), which may exceed any available cash balance.

Do you hold an account in another currency?

6-31 January:

Players can withdraw €10 or more, or the currency equivalent.

19-31 January:

To arrange a withdrawal of less than €10, or the currency equivalent, please contact our customer service.

Royal Panda reserves the right to charge the payment processing fees (or a reasonable estimate of those costs) which may exceed any available cash balance.

What happens with my bonus balance?

If you wish to meet the wagering requirements to release any bonus money from your bonus balance, you have some extra time between now and 31 January. After that date, your bonus balance will be zero as you will be unable to play at Royal Panda. Please keep in mind that wagering requirements can only be met with cash balance bets, and from 20 January you will no longer be able to deposit funds.

Sports betting and existing bets

Sports betting is available up until 9 am GMT on 20 January 2020. However, any bets for events that take place or settle after 31 January 2020 that are made between 8 January 2020 at 10am GMT and 20 January 2020 at 9 am GMT will be void and the bet will be returned.

In order to be fair to our loyal players, we will endeavour to settle those bets in the following manner:

Any single bet to return, up to and including £100, will be settled as a winner.
Pay bets* out as winners if the odds at the time of review (6-9 January 2020) are the same or shorter (up to and including 16/1 - 17.0) than when the bets were originally placed. This means that if your bet is more likely to win at the time of review than when you placed it, the bet will be settled as a win.**
Void bets and return all stakes where the odds on the Royal Panda site at the time of review have lengthened since the bet was placed. This means that if your bet is less likely to win than when you placed it, we will void the bet and return your stake. We will be reviewing these bets and checking the odds at the time of review in the week commencing 20 January.

*Single bets only.

**Exceptions may apply. Due to the number and complexity of some players’ bets, certain cases may deviate from the plan as outlined above and those affected will be contacted.

We believe the plan to settle bets is fair to all our players. Some of the single bets settled as winners that we will be paying out early on include:

Liverpool to win the Premier League
Leeds or West Brom to win the Championship
Celtic or Rangers to win the Scottish Premiership
Vardy to be Premier League top goal scorer
All four teams left in the Superbowl

If you do not agree with the decision, please contact us with a detailed explanation within 72 hours.

We will settle all ante-post bets as soon as possible, so that you’ll have plenty of time to withdraw your funds.
